Have you ever heard the statement, “It’s a new Season.” How about one of the most exciting prophecies that ring in your ear personally, as one shouts, “You’re about to enter into a brand new season.” I can recall shouting, leaping, and jumping, while declaring, “A new season upon my life.” I received the prophecy, and didn’t think twice about it.
New Seasons are amazing, and I believe we should always enter into a new season. There are some people who have the anointing, to assist others with breaking into new seasons. Often times when we find ourselves complacent, settled, or familiar with an old season, GOD will speak, and shift us into a new season, or He will use others who has the weight and power in the spirit to break us into a new season.
I believe this squad has entered a new season. And I declare that each of you are entering into a new season.
A new season simply means, TRANSITION. The process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another.
Here are a few syn: of the word Transition: process, change, conversation, shift; development, and alteration.
Often times if you are not careful, you will mistaken Transition for warfare, and will find yourself binding the enemy, when its actually GOD who is transitioning you. Transition is good, and it’s prevalent in your spiritual development. Transition and New season go hand and hand. If you are going to enter a new season, you must be willing to TRANSITION. Transition can feel as if GOD is moving you backwards, when in reality, backwards means LAUNCH. GOD is launching many of you because you are growing.
Transition has a warfare feel; however it’s imperative that you bless the LORD during these seasons. :Your praise will confuse the enemy, and you will have peace during the shift. Growing is painful; however the results are rewarding. In my voice: GROW FOR IT!!!!! GOD is making alterations in your life, so you can properly fit into the anointing, for the season HE has placed before you.
Here is your scripture focus as you prepare for class Wednesday. I want you to focus on this scripture, and continue to get as much revelation out of it as possible. Pay attention to how Elijah has to transition, and go through some places before his elevation. There will always be some form of transition before the take up! As you look at the 4 places Elijah transitioned through, look at your life, and identity what season you are in.
2 Kings 2:1-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
Elijah Taken into Heaven
1 When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal. 2 And Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel.”
But Elisha replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you!” So they went down together to Bethel.
3 The group of prophets from Bethel came to Elisha and asked him, “Did you know that the Lord is going to take your master away from you today?”
“Of course I know,” Elisha answered. “But be quiet about it.”
4 Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Jericho.”
But Elisha replied again, “As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you.” So they went on together to Jericho.
5 Then the group of prophets from Jericho came to Elisha and asked him, “Did you know that the Lord is going to take your master away from you today?”
“Of course I know,” Elisha answered. “But be quiet about it.”
6 Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to the Jordan River.”
But again Elisha replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you.” So they went on together.
Gilgal – A place of separation. Separated from man, separated unto GOD. IN this place GOD is requiring you to sacrifice, give something up, let go of things, people, and places.
Bethel – A place where GOD lives. This is the place of worship, between you and GOD. A settled place, a place of rest, and security.
Jericho – A place where your walls are coming down. This is the BATTLE before the PROMISE. This is the place of battle, warfare, opposition, and demonic plots, attempting to prevent you from your promise. This is the place of war.
Jordan River – A place where mantle are transferred. Moses transferred his mantle on Joshua before entering the promise land. This is the place of being mantled. You are mantled, before entering into the place of promise. This place is where you receive an impartation from GOD, and from man
Currently I’m the Jericho phase and I’m God’s Elisha lol
